And a year later...

It's a little weird for me to realize that the last time I posted on here was EXACTLY when my Doctor calculated I got pregnant. It's funny because when I started this blog, I felt like I had nothing to write about...but wouldn't getting pregnant have been a great opportunity to write about SOMETHING? Apparently not for me! 

So Logan's here, he's 5 months old, he's an absolute JOY!

 When he was first born and we were getting used to having a baby around that wanted to wake up in the middle of the night to eat, it was hard. The more I talk to other parents, the more I realize that we really lucked out with an awesome little man though. Making the change from a married couple to a FAMILY with a baby is a big difference, and is bound to come with it's difficulties, but in comparison to others, I can't complain too much, Logan is wonderful. He's slept 10 hours or more at night since January 11th (seriously, I know the date because I was so excited, I wrote it in his baby book!) 

I'm talking every night! It's been awesome in the way that I feel like a whole new person with more energy and ability to get things done around the house again. On the other hand, it makes me a little sad to put him to bed around 7:30 at night when I get home from work a little after 5. Oh well, focus on the blessing! I am absolutely loving being a new mom!

And...I promise to TRY (key word, TRY!) to remember to write more posts. My sister Suzanne is so good at writing exactly what she feels, and there's always something on her mind, and I don't think I'll be able to get as good at this as she is...but I will definitely TRY.
